WHAT IS THE COST OF TUITION?Currently, tuition is $120.00 per month for 3 day programs, $100.00 per month for our 2 day program, and $220.00 per month for the 5 day Pre-K program. Payment is due on the first school day of each month.
AT WHAT AGE CAN MY CHILD ATTEND? Children attending must reach the age of the program they are enrolled in by September 30 of that school year. (i.e. If a child is entering the three-year-old program, he must be 3 by September 30 of that school year.
HOW EARLY CAN MY CHILD GET TO SCHOOL?Preschool starts at 9:00 a.m. Children may arrive as early as 7:45 a.m. each morning.
HOW LATE CAN A CHILD BE PICKED UP?Children should be picked up at 12:00 noon.
WHAT IS YOUR INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY?Dan River W.E.E School follows the Halifax County Public Schools' weather closings. If the public schools open one hour late, we will open one hour late. If public schools open two hours late, we will be closed.
WHAT KIND OF HOLIDAY SCHEDULE DO YOU FOLLOW? Dan River W.E.E School follows the holiday schedule of the Halifax County Public Schools.
WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO REGISTER MY CHILD?Parents must fill out the registration forms provided by the school as well as provide a copy of the child's birth certificate, immunization record, and health information. A $50.00 non-refundable registration fee is also required.
